Ezra Levant the editor of the Western Standard has called the North American media on it' slack of balls in the whole cartoon thing. In this interview and others he very poignantly puts the argument of why it is nonsense to refrain from publishing the cartoons. Well said sir! It's about freeking time!

They where published by Le Devior a while ago. Our troops are more than capable of taking care of themselves (ask Matthew G.). No one is safe in Muslim countries anyways. Hundreds of Iraqies are kidnapped by their own for money. The Canadian peace wrokers where kidnapped long before this started. These are maniacs who bomb and kill there own (Jordan wedding for instance). We were never safe.
And why are our troops even in Afghanistan? It's ridiculous, the whole process smacks of American Imperialism. Bring home our troops, and none of them will get killed.
